"Cech the records!" Petr Cech becomes first goalkeeper to 200 Premier League clean sheets.

March 12, 2018

Petr Cech becomes the first goalkeeper in Premier League history to reach 200 clean sheets on Saturday, with a remarkable performance to remember.
Arsene Wenger, and Arsenal that has been having a deep in form for a while, put on 3-0 drubbing of Watford. But, fewer fans were only at the Stadium to jeer their team. It was perfectly understandable as some fans expect more from their team.
Petr Cech also saved a decisive Deeney's penalty when they were 2-0 up, before Mkhitaryan made it 3-0. The last time Petr Cech saved a Penalty in the @premierleague was in February 2011, whilst playing for Chelsea against Fulham.
Nigel Martyn 137, David Seaman 140, Mark Schwarzer 151, and David James 169 were the few Goalkeepers closer to Petr  Cech’s record breaking #200.
“It’s an unbelievable personal milestone, obviously. We took only 18 games to get nine clean sheets at the start of the season to reach the 199 and we had to wait 11 games [to get to 200], which is sometimes frustrating.”
”But the most important thing is when the team wins.”

One can’t even forget the three-month period in which he was out of contention to a head injury
