In December 2014 Weah ran for the position of representative of Montserrado county under the aegis of the CDC. He conveniently defeated his closest adversary, Robert Sirleaf (one of the president's children), taking 78 percent of the vote to Sirleaf's very nearly 11 percent. After two years, Weah's CDC converged with two different gatherings to frame the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC). Weah was the CDC's competitor in the October 2017 presidential decision, with Jewel Howard Taylor, representative for Bong region and previous spouse of the removed president Taylor, as his running mate. 

In April 2016, Weah announced his aim to keep run for President of Liberia for a second time. December 28 2017, Weah won the Presidential race and is charged to assume control from Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.

Kiss Daniel was rumored to have left the label outside the confines of the contract, however this is not the case according to confirmed reports. Timaya, Nigeria's danceall act has been nominated for the Grammy awards for featuring in Morgan Heritage’s album “Avrakedabra”.

Morgan Heritage is a reggae band formed in 1994 by five children of reggae artiste, Denroy Morgan. The band comprises Peter “Peetah” Morgan, Una Morgan, Roy “Gramps” Morgan, Nakhamyah “Lukes” Morgan, and Memmalatel “Mr. Mojo” Morgan. The Nigerian artiste featured alongside Ghanaian Afro-pop singer, Stonebwoy, Chubb Rock, Stylo G, Bunji Garlin, Dre Zion & Jaheil on the album. Avrekedabra” was nominated for the Best Reggae Album award and will slug it out with “Chronology” by Chronixx, “Lost in Paradise” by Common Kings, “Wash House Ting” by J Boog and “Stony Hill” by Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, reported Premium Times Monday.

He also stated that Mc galaxy wasn't a man of his words, but was used to owing and not fulfilling his financial obligations after a deal was made. In the recent contract agreed upon, Bobrisky mentioned that he practically begged for him to release his gateman; Jacob, for his new music video, which he sang in honor of Jacob. It was stated that he promised a particular amount, but he ended up giving Jacob 40,000 after the video shoot. In his story, Bob risky said he was surprised at the meagre sum given to Jacob, so he collected it and added some more money to it in order for Jacob to travel home and treat his sick father.

However, recently, Mc galaxy too to the social media and narrated his own version of the story, in which he said that according to what Jacob told him, Bobrisky actually lied about the money because he collected the money given to Jacob by Mc galaxy and sent him to his father empty handed. Jacob also posted a video on the social media, calling for the help of Nigerians to beg his boss to pay him his 6months withheld salary.

The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Maikanti Baru, has cut short his trip to London, in order to address the issue of the fuel scarcity. The GMD of the corporation was scheduled to received an award as the Forbes Oil and Gas Man of the Year Award 2017, on Tuesday before he canceled his trip. He regarded the issue as national, and needing urgent attention.

Long queues have been spotted in various filling stations as Nigerians have been buying fuel in panic. The situation grew worse, promoting the Managing Director to return home. The shortage of the product has been nationwide, with states like Ogun, Lagos, and even the FCT experiencing the panic approach by the citizens. The federal government has assured Nigerians that there was no need for the panic, due to fact that the product was being circulated equitably, although a lot of Nigerians are in doubt.
The seeming scarcity has slowed down activities, and commuters and passengers are not assured that the situation is under control.

Mixed reactions have trailed the recent appointment of a minister of happiness by the Imo state governor; Rochas okorocha. The new minister is reported to be his sister; Mrs ogechi Ololo. Nigerians have taken to the social media to express their anger and dissapointment at the recent development. In a bid to respond to the various reactions, the new minister took to her twitter account to defend herself by informing her critics that she has a counterpart in the United Arab Emirates; Mohamed Saeed Ghaith Al Mazrouei, who was appointed in the year 2016, by the prime minister through his Twitter account. The appointment is coming at a time when there is an agitation to end S.A.R.S and some Nigerians believe this appointment and its trend is a means of distracting the #Endsarsnow movement.
 A statement released recently, to the press, by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Sam Onwuemeodo, reveals that there was an error that led to the naming of the Ministry as the Ministry of Happiness and Couples fulfilment, as it is now called Ministry of Happiness and Purpose Fulfilment.
“There was a typographic error in the first statement issued on the swearing in of the new commissioners.
The word “Couple” was inadvertently written, instead of the word “Purpose,” we regret that. 
On the appointment;
"The real essence of life is to be happy and to fulfil one’s purpose in life; Government officials are elected to address this.
Happiness and Purpose Fulfilment Ministry therefore, is established for the lost time to correct the policy framework to guide ministries and departments on what they must do to guarantee the citizens’ happiness and contribute better to the society".
 Nigerians have taken to different platform to express their shock, especially since this is coming after the issue of his erection of different statues in the state.

The new minister of happiness and purpose purpose fulfilment; Hon Ogechi Ololo

The Special anti-robbery squad, has been trending in recent times. This is due to the fact that there has been some excesses by the squad on innocent citizens and this has led to the aggravated anger expressed by Nigerians. There have been reports of killings and Ill treatment by the squad on well meaning Nigerians. This has prompted a recent movement on social media calling for the squad to be dissolved under the #EndSarsnow. The movement even pulled weight in the music industry with stars like donjazzy and wizkid, joining the train.

In a statement released by police public relations officer, the Inspector General of Police; Idris Kpotun Ibrahim, made some new adjustments to the structure of the squad and introduced channels for complaints and information about the squad. Some of the changes include:
 The Police Zonal Commands, State Commands and Divisions will continue to operate anti-crime units/sections, crime prevention and control squads and teams imperative to prevent and detect crimes and criminalities in their Area of Responsibilities, and other crack squads necessary to sustain law and order and protection of life and properties in their Area of responsibilities (AOR)
 Federal Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) will now exist and operate in the State and Zonal Commands under the Commissioner of Police (F-SARS) at the Force Headquarters. A Federal SARS Commander of a Rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) and not below Superintendent of Police (SP) will be in charge of FSARS in State and Zonal Commands across the Country. All Commissioners of Police have been directed by the Inspector General of Police to comply with this directive with immediate effect and warn their personnel not to pose as SARS operatives. The IGP X-Squad has been mandated to go round the Commands and Police Formations nationwide to ensure strict compliance and apprehend any erring police officer.
 Furthermore, a new training program to be organized by the Force in collaboration with some Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Local and International NGOs, and other Human Rights Organizations on core Police Duties, Observant of Human Rights and Handling, Care and Custody of Suspects have been directed by the Inspector General of Police for all Federal SARS personnel nationwide with immediate effect.

There are definitely new strategies Yoruba demons are devising these days. The story below will reveal how much energy they put into the cheating game. On her twitter handle, Prisca, (@Scilla_xx) yesterday came out to identify the demon in her relationship. Apparently, her boyfriend of 7months was also in a 3year relationship with another lady who bears the same name with her.
Curiosity got the better of her, and she decides to find out who is getting the better part of her boyfriend's attention and this leads her to the Instagram page of the 'other' Prisca. The informant is a Nigerian, while the 'other' Prisca is a Ghanian. Nigerian Prisca tries sending the 'other' Prisca a DM on Instagram but she doesn't get any response. So she decides to investigate her other family members in order to get a contact phone number. All efforts prove abortive till she gets in touch with one of her friends and her friend helps her continue the investigation and finds the contact number of the 'other' prisca's mum. She calls the 'other' Prisca's number, and at last gets the number of the 'other' Prisca. She sends her texts messages and a couple of her pictures with the Mutual boyfriend; Yomi, hoping for a reply.
Meanwhile, Mutual boyfriend has been acting strange before this revelation. He suddenly picks up fight with Nigerian prisca, and after the revelation, it is concluded that it is all in a bid to avoid the 'other' prisca finding out about the Ghanian Prisca.Y.D even went as far as telling Nigerian Prisca that his mom knows about her(of course, they bear the same name, duh) and lied that Ghanian Prisca was an 'ex'.
Nigerian Prisca has sent all the messages and pictures of her and the Y.D to all Ghanian  Prisca's family members, but no response yet.

The Yoruba Demon; Yomi.

The issue of payment and non payment of tithe seems to be the order of the day on social media. Recently, senior pastor of Kingsway international Christian center(KICC); Matthew Ashimolowo in one of his services, gave his own opinion  about the tithing issue. In his own words:
